CBRE SCE Saddleback SC Seismic Retrofit

Retrofitting of existing building structure to ASCE 41-17 standards. Here, scope includes retrofitting the existing moment frame building structure using new BRFS, or the strengthening of the existing moment frame with new intermediate columns.


Interior modifications to existing office spaces to facilitate the seismic , work, consists of the demolition of specific walls, areas, and ceilings per plans, as well as the additions of metal stud partitions, gypsum board walls, lay-in ceilings, new lighting fixtures, new carpeting and new paint as called in drawings, along with new mechanical re-ducting and new electrical distribution, per mechanical and electrical drawings. Interior modifications to the existing restrooms include only those upgrades to comply fully with ADA codes and standards.


These upgrades include new plumbing fixtures at specific locations, new restroom / shower accessories, or the adjusted/relocated heights for existing accessories, new toilet partitions, new lavatory fixtures in new counter tops, new/replaced wall tiling at specific locations disturbed because of these restroom ADA upgrades. Additionally, as part of ADA upgrades in Restroom #103, this restroom requires a new partition wall and any associated wall finish.

CBRE SCE Ontario SC Garage

Southern California Edison Ontario SC Garage project was a seismic retrofit of an existing 14,889SF Service Center building in Ontario, CA. The purpose of this project was to take an existing building and install new support systems to bring it up to seismic building codes. The project included installation of new 10FT deep concrete footings to set new steel columns on. We constructed new grade beams and concrete wall end strengtheners with steel angle supports, wrapped existing CMU columns with FRP composite system and new roof system.
