Become a SubcontractorThe MSH Construction Company was founded by Lisa Moss, Walter Moss and Martin Hollister in 2003. The three Principals formed a strategic alliance to develop a general construction company that emphasizes customer satisfaction.
The Moss family’s and Martin Hollister’s relationship extends back to the late nineteen eighties. Walter Moss began his career in construction as a cement mason in 1980. Within a short period of time, Walter quickly moved up the construction ladder and gained invaluable team leadership and on-site management experience.
Lisa Moss concurrently excelled in the corporate world of business. It wasn’t long before the eager couple decided to combine their individual strengths and branch out to establish their own business, The Moss Company in 1990.
The Moss Company was quickly recognized throughout Southern California for providing exceptional concrete, demolition, grading and labor services. The Moss Company was also known for establishing reputable and long-lasting relationships with their clients.
Martin Hollister was meanwhile advancing his individual career in the construction industry. Martin was consistently recognized for outstanding work by his superiors and therefore advanced to several executive positions within top international design/build companies. Some high-ranking positions he achieved were District Construction Manager, Senior Project Manager and Vice President of Construction. Martin also received acclamations and awards from clients and colleagues.
Over the next decade the 3 built a general construction company focused on excellent customer service while providing an exceptional product. Martin retired in 2017 and passed away in 2020, but his vision and his commitment to the client remain.
